"The overall experience was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to dinner and to the Fox Theater for our show. On the down side, the air conditioner seemed to struggle, the sink was a little slow draining and the shampoo bottle on the shower wall fell and we didn’t even use it. "This is our most favorite place to stay when in Monterey. A few things I was disappointed in, When I went to take a shower on our 1st day of the trip there was no shower gel in the container. It was completely empty. I had to call housekeeper but they brought a new container immediately. There were used tissues under the sink cabinet from previous guests. Family in the next room were very lound and the kids kept trying to open our adjoining door. Management did speak to them and no other...

"We stayed two nights while making our way from Oregon down to Yosemite. It is a beautiful property and very quiet. All of the staff were nice and helpful. We grabbed pizza and gelato to go from the restaurant and it was so good!! Our room was kind of in a corner so it only had one small window and the lighting wasn't great, the room felt a bit dark. But that was a very minor downside and I absolutely give this hotel 5 stars! We loved our stay! Definitely check it out if you're in the area!"
