“That was the strangest experience I have ever had at a hotel. Not sure the name of the man that was supposed to check us in but he was either a manager or an owner because everyone else that worked there seemed to be really scared of him. When I arrived to check in no one knew what to do with us so we just stood there while everyone argued if they should help us or wait for the owner/manager to not be busy. “We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel on the way to Sacramento from Yosemite. The location is perfect as it’s in the downtown area which has gift shops and cafes. The room was clean, overall the grounds were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would certainly visit again.”

“The only things this place has going for it is the restaurant and the proximity to Kings Canyon entrance. That's it. The room was ok but the bathroom was ridiculously small. While I was taking a shower the smoke detector went off. If you live here and don't like overhead light bring your own lamp. I wish I knew in advance because I would have.
