“Wonderful lady checked us in and she did everything to make sure we got the best room for our needs. Room was very clean. Far enough off the freeway you don't hear the traffic.”

“The entryway area was extremely clean when we arrived. The lady at the desk was courteous and knowledgeable. The breakfast was the standard motel breakfast. The desk help was mopping and vacuuming the entry way in the morning. Very nice.”

“One of the best motels we have stayed in. Breakfast, which is important to us, was small but had all that we like, eggs, potatoes, sausage, fruit, juice, coffee, waffles. Staff is nice. Can grab a bottle of beer by the front desk. Breakfast area is very homey and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very clean.”

“The hotel was easy to find. We were also close to restaurants, gas stations, fast food, and Walmart, which made things super convenient! The room was very clean and comfortable! Even the parking lot, hallways and common areas were very clean! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The pool was open, clean, and the kids had a blast. Breakfast was awesome, both mornings! We really enjoy our breakfasts when we stay with Holiday Inn but this one was fresh, hot, and they were constantly...

“Stay was great. Ignore previous negative review as Expedia had not billed me at time of reservation. Bear in mind lobby closes at 6pm. Staff, Michelle, was awesome. Only negative was that the media player remote had corroded batteries and did not work. Was able to hook up our own fire TV stuck eventually after figuring out the complex tech setup. But these were minor things. Fantastic value, great rooms and very clean. ”

“Everything was fantastic, my only suggestion for improvement would be water & vending. The vending machines lacked snacks, only a few options to choose from. The soda vending machines only had cans for $1.50 each, and no water bottles. The water fountain was blocked by the vending machines, so my only water source was the sink or convenience store. Otherwise, everything was great, I got to have the dog with me for a very small pet fee, staff was wonderful, and the bed was very comfortable!”

“I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated. ”
