“My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. “Had a fantastic weekend here. We love Oscoda and this is a beautiful spot right on Lake Huron. The manager Chad was very helpful and a super nice guy. Keep in mind before booking this place doesn’t have certain amenities like towels, soap or shampoo and garbage bags. It does have appliances, silverware, dishware, and an outdoor grill. They’re in the process of updating it so right now so many things are pretty rough around the edges, especially the interior of the cabins. We wouldn’t hesitate to...

“Great stay for our family of 4. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Also met some wonderful people staying in another cottage around the shared campfire. ”

“John was excellent at communicating and making us feel at home. The views were amazing and kids loved the trip. ”

“Needs an update on the linens and blankets. Not much of a view either. Washer and dryer and fridge work fine. Bathroom needs hooks and towel bars and maybe a new tub surround. The wiring is also a little sketchy as it is extension cords running on the outside of the walls. Should be a bit more upscale and remodeled for the price. ”

“Great stay, we basically needed a place to sleep as we were gone a lot. The cabin was cute, very clean, and in a great area. Everything was updated inside, and the property manager gave us a call when we arrived. He gave us information on the house and area. The water and snacks were a great bonus! We would definitely stay again.”
