"Having never stayed in a Microtel before, I was curious what makes it "micro"? Now I know. It was very clean. The beds were clean and comfy. There was very little counter space, and no closet. So, our bags (and instruments) got piled around the room. There was a very useful window seat, where some bags and instruments ended up. The bathroom was also without much in the way of counter tops. It was fine for a single night stay on our way through, but I think I would miss having somewhere to put my toiletries if I stayed for more than one night."
