“There are very few options of decent quality in this region of the state. This place was decent and the staff were very friendly. We parked on the street right outside our room. They had some workout amenities and we laughed when we realized we needed cash for the vending machines. We didn't have any but the lady nicely gave us two bottled waters for the room anyway. I wouldn't go out of my way to travel to this area again but if I did, a quick overnight here is not too bad.”

“Honestly when we saw the hotel from outside and the old lobby we got a bit scared about the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the renovation and the nice beds. Bath still needs remodeling or a nice new coating, but it is a historic place and for a night stop was more than good. The only problem we had was that they have nothing family friendly neither in the hotel nor in Ely, so we were stuck in the room. The dining is limited - pricy Italian restaurant ( prices higher than San Diego and...
