"Hreat place to stay"
Inn at Otter Crest
8/10 Good
"This isn’t our first stay and certainly won’t be our last. The location, staff and options for a loft with full kitchen makes it worth the $$$. However, many things in the room were dated and pretty low quality. The worst being the mattresses. They are either very old, very low quality, or maybe both. Our entire family (kids included) said it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The pillows were also not quality and were sized more for a twin bed. One night two of us attempted to sleep in the recliners, which did not prove to be more comfortable. Now for some additional Pros: the beach view rooms get 10/10 for view of sunrises and sunsets. The kitchen provides the opportunity for us to cook our own meals and stay cozy during the evening. The kids also found it to be a lot of fun to have the option to rent movies during our stay. Our youngest enjoyed the pool multiple days, and I have to admit I did too because it was heated. The restaurant on site has delicious food. The property is very walkable, and close enough to drive to Depoe, Newport and the Devils Punch Bowl. Overall I give the property a 4/5."
Driftwood Shores Resort And Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"One of the most memorable stays I have ever experienced. Right on the beach overlooking dreamy dunes and the ocean. Incredible pool and water area. Spacious clean rooms with doors that ipen to balconies and the best view you could wish for. I hope I get to go back someday. What a cool way to truly experience the vibe of the area."
Comfort Inn Newport
8/10 Good
"Just a roof over our heads for our road trip, but clean and comfortable"
Waldport Bayfront Hotel and Restaurant
10/10 Excellent
"It served its purpose for an overnight trip. It was right on the bay and the view was beautiful. Otherwise, the hotel could use some sprucing up and they’d be better served getting rid of the carpet in the rooms. Definitely an old hotel but close proximity to everything."
