“This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. ”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

“Rooms are clean, neat and pretty. There are three bedrooms and enough room for our family (2 adults and 3 kids). The road leading from the main street to the house is narrow, steep, and winding, making driving a bit challenging. A smaller vehicle with four-wheel drive and decent driving skills will be necessary. The location is nice. Just 20-30 minutes to Cartago. We had a good time there!”
