“Das Hotel hat eine sehr ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Dort waren wir fast allein. Der Strand ist ein paar Kilometer lang, gut für lange Spaziergänge am Wasser. Das Hotelpersonal war superfreundlich. Im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.”

“Generally clean. Hot water is GOOD. Backyard is pretty. Free coffee. Breakfast is GREAT. You can choose 1 out of 3 dishes. I recommend to choose traditional tacos. The night staff guy is very helpful and friendly. You can book whatever tour you want (Morning staff guy doesn't have a good attitude, tho). Also, close to bus terminal and restaurants.”

“I stayed at this place in March 2024. My unit had a meeting area, a Bdrm with two double beds, closet, a private bath, and a small private backyard, plus AC & paid abt $30/night which was great. However, this unit needed some minor repairs. For ex., shower missed shower-head, or the front door had to be pulled in hard to lock. But I still recommend it.”

“Hotel is definitely not a high star fancy hotel. Bathrooms were super outdated. The bar was always closed. No breakfast offered. Seemed like a lonely ghost hotel. Parking was a great and I felt safe most importantly in spite of NOT seeing any security.”

“The staff, breakfast, and location were great, and the nearby capuchin monkeys and wildlife were delightful. But… a hotel has one main job to do: provide a comfortable bed and pillow for a good night’s rest. Our three-night stay wasn’t great. Bed and pillows didn’t cut it. We liked the help with getting transportation and an excursion to the Cloud Forest Reserve, but we were always dreading the night’s sleep. If you’re going to drive all the way to Monteverde, stay somewhere more comfortable.”
