"I wish that I could rate it 4.5 for the reasons I'll give below. But... the room layout was good, the location was good, the breakfast was excellent, and the workout room was first-rate. Most importantly, the staff was very helpful in getting us access to the one electric car charger before and during our stay. Without that charge, we couldn't have made it home. Because of the charging station and the good breakfast, this was a great value and we'll likely be back. On the negative side, our room had power outages both mornings when our in-room coffee maker was started. This also shut the power to the room across from us. Because the staff doesn't come in until 7:30, we were literally in the dark both mornings. Luckily, we weren't in any hurry to go anywhere, but this would have been a problem if we had needed to get on the road. The staff seemed to be aware that there was an issue with the electricity in our room, so hopefully management will look into fixing it. Also, staff not coming on property until 7:30 meant that the workout room was unavailable until then; I usually want to get my workout started at least by 7:00. Overall, though, we were very pleased. Guests should be aware that it is a pretty good walk into town, especially if you make the trip twice each day."

"An older hotel but appeared to be clean. Sadly, the shower was too cold to stand under. There was also soap on the shower floor, maybe a leak in the dispenser. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would give the place another chance but the shower would be one of the top things I would check upon entering the room."

"Breakfast choices are excellent, you get a good spread of savory and sweet options. Swimming pool and hot tub area were nice to have available and use but we're showing definite signs of wear and tear. Our room was generally good, it could get a little stuffy though since the A/C was tucked back from the main room. Overall, while needing some maintenance touch ups, I'd recommend Fairbridge as a good choice to stay for a solid price and not very far from the excitement"
