A quiet get away

The apartment had everything I needed for my stay. The rooms were very clean and the owners were outstanding hosts. They went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable and I understood the amenities on the property as well as in the surrounding area. I travel to the area annually and will certainly be back at this location!

Very attractive courtyard. Pool small, garden area would be very crowded if all apts occupied. Only 4 buses a day, last one left Hania at 6pm, car essencial, nowhere nice to walk. No toiletries. Communication with proprietor hard for non Greek speakers. Some apts more comfortable than others. Base units in one apt smelt of damp & bed was uncomfortable, cobwebs, floor not clean Check out 10am not 11am as advertised.

Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Die gesamte Anlage macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Ein kleiner Innenhof mit Tischen rundet das Ganze noch positiv ab. Der Pool ist für eine abendliche Erfrischung sehr schön. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, spricht zwar nur Griechisch, was aber ihr Handy-Übersetzungsprogramm ausgleicht. Ihr Sohn spricht englisch. Die Lage ist super, wir hatten kein Frühstück mitgebucht, da uns der Umfang zu reichhaltig erschien.Gefrühstückt haben wir im gegenüberliegenden Restaurant Irene wo man auch sehr gut und preisgünstig essen kann oder in der kleinen Snackbar (auch gegenüber), . Sehr gut sortierter Supermarkt in einer Minute fußläufig erreichbar. Zum Strand sind wir hauptsächlich nach Stavros gefahren. Insgesamt als sehr empfehlenswert zu beurteilen.

Cretan Hospitality at its best

Popi was lovely. She used a translator ap and wanted to tell me all about the area and local beaches. I lived in Chorafakia 24 years ago and know a little Greek, so we were able to have a conversation. She was very helpful, friendly and I totally recommend Skandalis Traditional Suites.

Nice local place.

Nice cheap place. Good for trips around Chania. the biggest seller for us was the pool which was fine. Nice children friendly beach in walking distance. The electricity was a bit unstable and lights went out every time we turned on the second aircon. We would love to go back!

Dejlig lejlighed med smuk udsigt

Vi var der fra. 9. til 16. april 2016. Værtinden Popi tog imod os med åbne arme. Alt i lejligheden var som forventet. Gode senge med dyner! Stor balkon med sol fra morgen til aften. Og havudsigt med fantastisk smuk solnedgang. Landsbymiljø, men med Tavernaer tæt på. 1,2 kilometer til nærmeste strand med krystalklart vand og Taverna. Kørselsafstand til Chania 15-20 minutter. Dejlig swimmingpool. Popi kom med lokale lækkerier til os i løbet af ugen. Vi havde en dejlig ferie selv om det var først på sæsonen og antallet af turister var begrænset.

Det lilla hotellet med stort hjärta.

Trevligt hotell med väldigt snälla och vänliga ägare som verkligen gjorde allt för vår trivsel. Frukosten och maten från Boy`s Place var toppen.

Tranquillo, accogliente

Ho soggiornato allo skandalis per una settimana, casa con tutti i confort, supermarket a due passi, buonissima ed economica taverna dietro casa, i proprietari del complesso gentili e sempre sorridenti, la signora ci offriva anche degli assaggi di piatti fatti da lei e suo figlio (unico che parla inglese) molto gentile e disponibile. Un piacevole e tranquillo soggiorno a 5 minuti dall spiaggia di chorafakia e a 20 min di auto da chania. Ci ritornerei
