"Good stay, has everything you need for a good price if you want to avoid spending arm and leg at the Marriott across the street and if you don’t mind the 5 min walk. My brother was getting married at the Marriott so i mostly used their facilities and was surprised that no one asked or cared if i was staying there or not but that said Lagunita’s pool and facilities are nice and quaint and the room is nice and clean. "The resort staff are very nice and friendly and the beach staff are very accommodating but not enough beach hut’s for everyone. And if you want one you have to get up at 5:00 am in the morning to get one!! "
"My wife and I are in our mid-60’s and love the “adult” pool which is separated from the “family” (kids) pool by the hotel building. The room we booked was overlooking the family pool and the outdoor bar. This side of the hotel tends to be noisier at night. After we arrived and were checking in, we were able to upgrade our room to the opposite side of the hotel, which overlooks the adult pool and has a better ocean view. We also enjoy going to the hotel’s casino every night after dinner. "
