"Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. Large, beautiful rooms. Breakfasts were lovely, and we really enjoyed the option of one of Michael’s incredible dinners. Really happy to have found Maison Mulato. If you go, make sure to spend a little quiet time just being at the house. "

"Very sweet room with view over the vineyard. Staff was welcoming and arranged a short-term tour and tasting complementary. Breakfast was amazing with homemade jam and honey, as well as high-quality bread. Additionally, location is great (central, but feels remote). Real gem for the price!"

"Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines. Without doubt, we would gladly stay there again."

"Booked and paid in JANUARY. Arrived 16:00 (check-in allegedly from 14:00). Place was locked; could not make anyone hear us. Waited 30 minutes before finding another hotel. Had also booked dinner but the sign outside said the restaurant was closed on Tuesday (the day of our stay). Contacted hotels.com to request full refund - this was apparently refused by the hotel (though hotels.com personnel said they couldn’t really communicate with hotel very well as the staff there only spoke French. Er… it’s a French hotel!!!). Eventually given £25 in award points - well under half what we had paid five months earlier! VERY unhappy with the whole situation!"
