"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. "Overnight stay, on our way from Condor Ferries, St Malo, to Disneyland Paris. The room was small, but served us well. Shower not for claustrophobic people. Nice and basic breakfast."

"Restaurant not open in evening Room extremely basic . No drinks facilities. Chipboard decor somewhat tacky . Even cardboard room numbers . This is over priced for the level of quality provided. On the upside though the breakfast was good . "

"The hotel is in a picturesque area, surrounded by ponds and a canal and is very quiet. We had a large room with seating and views over the water. It's not a modern building as it once was a working mill. The hotel has its own restaurant but there are others nearby and free parking closeby."
