If you're not prepared, air travel can be challenging. But there's no need to worry. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a pleasant start to your vacation in Barro. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a great experience if you take the right things. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh change of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your phone, tablet and chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a blow-up neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- The result of sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your ankles and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
