We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our top tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and having a blast in Berezivka before you know it.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, find a spot in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any vital medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The long, narrow aisles of your plane are not the place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfy clothing and remember to take a cardigan as it can get quite cool in the cabin during long-haul flights. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are always a good choice too.
- Most travelers are aware of DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. There's lots you can do to lower your risk. Wear a pair of compression tights or socks, stay hydrated and move your legs and feet. Do a lap or two of the cabin or perform some simple exercises in your seat.
