We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and you'll be breezing through the airport and seeing the best of Bomdila in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a cruisy experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh set of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- Caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers on long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and feet moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
