We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our top tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and discovering Codo in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and a good book. Next, make room in your carry-on bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Go for shoes that are easy to pull on and off, dress in loose, breathable clothing and remember to take a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To reduce your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and keep your feet and legs moving.
