Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well organized. We've made a list of handy travel tips that will help get your Comano escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a great experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh change of clothes and a good novel. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, medications and maybe a cozy neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and go for shoes that are enclosed, flat and easy to slip on and off.
- You've probably heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To minimize your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
