Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Cord could be a piece of cake or it could drag on forever. We've rounded up some useful tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a pleasure if you've got all the right things. First of all you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean set of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, medications and maybe a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
