No matter where you're coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you've prepared well enough. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Entrada escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a pleasure if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your laptop, a charger, medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow too. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to bring your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosols and fireworks, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Choose a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to bring a pullover in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- You've probably heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lessen your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
