Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you've prepared well. We've made a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Fulton escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a pain-free travel experience is to plan ahead. So, let's start with the basics: passport, travel documents, bank cards and daily medications. Next, bring on board items that'll help pass the time, like some electronic gadgets or a magazine. It's also a wise idea to bring your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of headphones. Last but not least, don't forget to chuck in toiletries like a toothbrush, lip balm and a clean T-shirt.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart option, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
