Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you've prepared well enough. We've put together a list of handy travel tips that will get your Garzón vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a stress-free experience if you take the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean pair of socks and a magazine or two. Next, find room in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, any medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and fuels, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To minimize your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks and move your legs and feet often.
