Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well prepared. We've put together a list of handy tips and tricks that will help get your Iboki vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, put in your passport, travel docs, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy book and a phone crammed with your favorite movies are always good options. If you plan to take a quick nap, a comfy neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a few toiletry items to ensure you arrive at your destination looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a sharp object hiding in one of the compartments of your hand luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable products, such as fuel and matches, and gels and liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane are no place for a fashion parade. Layer your clothing and opt for shoes that are closed-toe, flat and easy to take on and off.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your legs and feet moving.
