If you're not prepared, air travel can be tough. But there's no need to panic. Follow these useful tips and enjoy a pleasant start to your time in Inguanzo. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a stress-free experience if you pack the right gear. Firstly, you'll want some toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a fresh set of clothes and a few magazines. Secondly, find room in your carry-on bag for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and gasoline, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Layer yourself up with comfortable clothes and pack a sweater as it tends to get cool inside the cabin during long-haul flights. Slightly roomy, flat shoes are always a good choice too.
- The condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Walking around the cabin and doing regular foot and leg exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a good pair of compression tights or socks can also help.
