We've rounded up all the info you need to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and having a blast in Invicta in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, pack your passport, travel docs, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favorite movies are some terrific options. If you intend to take a quick nap, a neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you arrive looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for easy-to-remove footwear, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks and move your lower limbs often.
