Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you've planned ahead. We've put together a list of handy hints that will get your Larreule escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, put in your passport, travel docs, cash and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a laptop crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to take a short nap, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll arrive at your destination looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and gasoline, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
