Depending on where you're coming from, your flight to Lizoain could be a breeze or it could drag on forever. We've pulled together some tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a fresh change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, find a spot in your bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, any daily medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow too. Lastly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your precious pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as possible. Opt for a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to bring a pullover in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
