Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you prepare well enough. We've made a list of handy travel tips that will help get your Maasbree vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack your passport, official ID, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy novel and a phone filled with your favorite movies are good options. If you hope to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll arrive at your destination looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and go for shoes that are enclosed, flat and easy to remove.
- Most of us have heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression tights or socks and keep your feet and legs moving.
