• The result of lengthy periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clotting condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your lower limbs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.

As seasoned travelers know, the secret is to be well organized before you reach security. That way, you'll be boarding that plane to Molos in no time flat. Follow these tips and get your trip off to a fantastic start:

• Airport security personnel first need to establish that you have a valid passport and travel documents before you can proceed any further. Have them in your hand, ready for inspection.
