We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our top tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and enjoying Mucuri before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, pack your passport, travel documents, wallet and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy novel and a tablet crammed with your favorite movies are some fantastic options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you hop off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
