Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you've prepared well enough. We've compiled a list of top travel tips that will help get your Odžak escape started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a good novel. Next, find room in your hand luggage for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, bleaching agents and poisons, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a wise choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your feet and legs moving.
