Wherever you're coming from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you're prepared. We've compiled a list of handy tips that will get your Ottweiler vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and hairbrush, a clean pair of socks and a good novel. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your medications and perhaps a blow-up neck pillow too. Lastly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as spray paint, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your top priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Choose a pair of slip-on shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and don't forget to take a jacket in case you get cold in the cabin.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by long periods of sitting. To minimize your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your legs and feet moving.
