Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Ozark could be completely stress-free or it could drag on forever. We've compiled some useful travel tips that will help you start your next great adventure on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, pack your passport, travel documents, cash and vital medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favorite shows are good options. If you intend to take a quick snooze, a neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and strong acids, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to be as comfortable as you can. Pick flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, breathable clothing and don't forget to bring a sweater in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To reduce your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your legs and feet moving.
