If you're poorly prepared, air travel can be overwhelming. But there's no need to worry. Follow these tips and tricks for a pleasant start to your time in Padule. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First, pack your passport, official ID, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a laptop filled with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you intend to catch forty winks, a quality neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, find room for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll arrive feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your beloved Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
