Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Palestina could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've put together some tips that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, pack in your passport, important documents, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll want some in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favorite movies are good options. If you hope to catch forty winks, a quality neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you touchdown looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like a pocket knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- You'll want to choose comfort over style. Prepare for temperature changes by wearing layers, and pick closed-toe, flat footwear like sneakers.
- Caused by sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers on long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs moving and wearing compression socks to help improve your circulation.
