Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a pleasant experience if you've prepared well enough. We've compiled a list of essential travel tips that will get your Peramola vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a stress-free experience if you pack the right gear. First of all you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh set of clothes and something to read. Next, find room in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any medications and maybe a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Choose comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by donning layers, and pick flat, slightly roomy footwear like slip-ons.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by extended periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Make a point of walking around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
