We've pulled together all the info you need to make your flight as pain-free as possible. Follow our tips and you'll be zooming through the airport and having a ball in Pogoni in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be a stress-free experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and a good novel. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any medications and perhaps a neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to take your passport, travel documents and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like your pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and poisons, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to feel as comfortable as you can. Pick a pair of flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to take a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
