If you're poorly prepared, traveling can be a real challenge. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these handy tips for a pleasant start to your time in Prodol. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a cruisy experience if you take the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and a good book. Next, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, medications and maybe a proper neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as flares, chemicals agents and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- Choose comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by donning layers, and opt for flat, enclosed footwear like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Walk around the cabin and give your legs a stretch or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
