We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight as pain-free as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be speeding through the airport and enjoying Roboré in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Traveling on a plane can be easy if you carry the right gear. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a fresh change of clothes and something to read. Next, find room in your carry-on bag for your phone, tablet and chargers, your medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to bring your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your number one priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a wise option, as are enclosed shoes like sneakers.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
