If you're poorly prepared, air travel can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a pain-free start to your time in Roda. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a pleasure if you bring the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and a magazine or two. Secondly, find room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Sharp objects, like your treasured pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, flares and fireworks, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when choosing what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible choice, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers on long-distance flights. Reduce the risks by drinking water, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
