We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and seeing the best of Serov in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a stress-free experience if you bring the right things. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, medications and maybe a cozy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, remember to bring your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) won't be allowed on. Pointed or sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane are no place for a fashion parade. Dress in comfortable layers and pick shoes that are flat and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
