If you're poorly prepared, air travel can be a real challenge. But there's no need to panic. Follow these useful tips and enjoy a pain-free start to your vacation in Skull Valley. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- It's easy — first, put in your passport, important documents, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you plan to catch a few z's, a quality neck pillow and some noise-canceling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll hop off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and poisons, are also banned.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main concern when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- Most travelers are aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity. To lessen your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks or tights and keep your legs and feet moving.
