No matter where you're coming from, flying can be a pleasurable experience if you're well organized. We've made a list of handy hints that will help get your Sörberge vacation started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack in your passport, travel documents, bank cards and medications. Next, you'll want some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling novel and a laptop filled with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you intend to take a short snooze, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some facial wipes so you'll hop off the plane feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and strong acids, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a wise option, as are flat, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
