We've rounded up all the info you need to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be zooming through the airport and seeing the best of Temora before you know it. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Flying can be a stress-free experience if you take the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and a good read. Next, leave space in your carry-on bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and perhaps a cozy neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel documents and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your treasured Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and strong acids, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are enclosed, flat and easy to take on and off.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers on long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and feet moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
