Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Theologos could be a breeze or it could go on forever. We've put together some handy hints that will help you start your next great escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, put in your passport, official ID, wallet and medications. Next, you'll need some in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a laptop crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you intend to catch a few z's, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some facial wipes to ensure you hop off the plane feeling fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of banned items can differ between airlines, the general rule to follow is avoid carrying anything sharp, flammable or explosive. This includes things like knives, scissors, aerosol cans and bleaching agents. Sporting equipment like golf clubs, and objects that could harm passengers, such as swords and guns, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your goal here is to be as comfortable as you can. Opt for shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, breathable clothing and remember to take a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
