Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Visim could be completely painless or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some handy travel tips that will help you start your next great escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a stress-free experience if you take the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need toiletry items, such as lip balm and hand cream, a spare set of clothes and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any medications and maybe a blow-up neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, be sure to bring your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Opt for flat, closed-toe shoes, dress in loose, natural fibers and remember to bring a pullover in case you get cold in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin or do some simple exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
