We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey as pain-free as possible. Follow our insider tips and you'll be zooming through airport security and seeing the best of Visse before you know it.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First of all, pack your passport, official ID, wallet and vital medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you hope to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, squeeze in a toothbrush and some deodorant to ensure you arrive at your destination looking fresh and raring to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The narrow aisles of an airplane are not the best place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and don't forget to bring a cardigan as the temperature can drop in the cabin. Enclosed, flat shoes are also a good idea.
- A condition called deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation. Walking up and down the aisle and doing leg and foot exercises in your seat is a great way to prevent this occurring. Wearing a quality pair of compression socks or tights is also a wise idea.
