A thrilling book and a laptop filled with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you intend to catch a few z's, a comfy neck pillow and some earplugs will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll arrive at your destination feeling fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of banned items can differ between air carriers, the general rule to follow is nothing flammable, sharp or explosive. This includes tools, metal cutlery, fuels and bleaching agents. Sports equipment like bows and arrows, and items that could harm passengers, such as pepper spray and guns, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your aim here is to make yourself as comfortable as you can. Layer up in breathable clothing and pack a pullover in case it gets chilly in the cabin. Go for a pair of roomy, flat shoes as your feet may swell a little during the journey. Leave the high heels and heavy boots in your luggage.
