We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight as stress-free as possible. Follow our top tips and you'll be zooming through airport security and having a blast in Zabre in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Firstly, and most importantly, put in your passport, travel documents, credit cards and vital medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the time. A juicy book and a tablet crammed with your favorite shows are some terrific options. If you hope to catch up on some sleep, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a few toiletry items so you'll hop off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by security. Sharp objects, like a Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and gasoline, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of a plane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and go for shoes that are flat, roomy and easy to remove.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
